Note on hours and projects: Murf's Help article What is a Workspace? still lists older plan names (including Growth) and different hour/project figures. Prefer the live Studio pricing tab; re-check it before you pay.

What Creator gets you

Creator is Murf's starter paid plan for individuals and freelancers. The pricing card lists:

  • All 200+ voices, styles and tonalities
  • Multi-native voices
  • Unlimited downloads
  • Canva integration
  • Commercial Rights

Limits that matter: 1 editor seat, 100 projects, and the voice-generation pool above (4 hrs/Month on monthly billing, or 48 hrs/Year on yearly billing, per the Studio tab data checked today).

Good fit if you:

  • publish your own YouTube, course lessons or freelance voiceovers
  • need commercial rights without a company Business License
  • mainly edit in Murf Studio + Canva
  • can stay inside Creator's yearly (or monthly) voice pool after retakes

What Business adds

Business is tagged Best Value. Its summary is "Everything in Creator, Plus":

  • Business License
  • Emphasis (highlight key terms)
  • Variability (multiple expressive variations)
  • Say It My Way
  • PowerPoint integration
  • Audio to Text
  • Murf voices for Windows apps

Voice time on the Studio tab data checked today: 8 hrs/Month or 96 hrs/Year. Still 1 editor seat. Project allowance in that same plan data: 50.

Murf Help recommends the Business License for registered businesses creating a wide range of internal and external content. Sharing and collaboration features beyond that sit on Enterprise (SSO, custom editors/viewers, etc.).

Good fit if you:

  • represent a company and want the Business License Murf recommends
  • build a lot of slide-based training (PowerPoint)
  • need Emphasis / Variability / Say It My Way regularly
  • would burn through Creator's voice pool most months

Cost math (yearly billing)

Using the yearly totals from the pricing page ($228 Creator, $792 Business):

  • Business costs about 3.5× Creator's yearly price ($792 ÷ $228)
  • Business lists 2× Creator's yearly voice hours in today's Studio data (96 vs 48)

If you only need commercial rights and Canva, Creator is the lower bill. If you need Business-only features or more hours every month, Business is the plan Murf packages for that.

Free plan: when it stops being enough

Free is for auditioning. The Studio card lists 10 minutes of voice generation, No Downloads and No Commercial Rights. Upgrade as soon as you need to export or publish anything commercial. License details: Can you use Murf AI commercially?.

A simple rule for choosing

  1. Still testing voices: Free.
  2. Solo creator / freelancer, commercial publish, Canva workflow: Creator (yearly billing if you will stay a year — Murf shows "Saved 33%").
  3. Registered business, PowerPoint-heavy training, or you need Business License / Say It My Way / more hours: Business.
  4. Team SSO, shared editing, broadcasting rights, or unlimited generation: talk to Murf Enterprise.

Not sure on hours? Draft one real month of scripts, add ~30–50% for regenerations, and compare that total to the Creator and Business pools on the live pricing page.
